I am a graduate of SpaTech Institute in Westbrook Maine. My practice is Healing Hands Massage and Polarity and is located in Bath, Maine. My projected date of opening is May 16, 2011.

I drove by Spa Tech in Ipswich for several years, saying to myself over and over, "I would really like to try that someday". My now husband finally brought me to the school and sent me in to get information about Spa Tech and the courses of study offered. It was a day which changed my life. I enrolled in the Therapeutic Massage program and when I came home from my first class, I was filled with excitment and the feeling that I had finally, at 44 years old, found what I was meant to do.

After a quick and learning filled year, I embarked on the next stage of my journey, starting my own business! I have a fabulous studio with incredible energy in downtown Ipswich. I share my space with another Spa Tech graduate, a hypnotherapist and a life/health coach and we all love to be there together.

I am a thirty four year old , married ,mother of two. I have been with my husband for 19 years and raised two awesome young boys. As my children got older I realized I was not fulfilled in my career and I wanted to make some changes. So I started searching for myself. I knew I wanted to be a massage therapist, but I was very interested in holistic healing and energy work. When I found Spa Tech and realized I could combine the two I was thrilled. I have been studying massage and polarity therapy for almost a year now and have recently graduated from the holistic massage program. I loved it so much that I am now enrolled in the RPP (registered polarity practitioner)program. The RPP program is an advanced polarity program, so I am learning to be a healer on a much deeper level. Polarity and massage have changed my life so much, in such a positive way, that I am eternally grateful for experience. I would love the opportunity to show you how amazing this work really is.

My intention is to create a unique, relaxing, experience using a holistic approach to bodywork. Whether you are looking for relaxation, diminished stress of relieving sore muscles, I have a quality massage that will restore you in body, mind and spirit.

Erika Spearin is a licensed massage therapist, specializing in deep tissue massage. She is also in the process of earning advanced orthopedic certification. Most of her clients work with her for relief of pain and discomfort and for aid in injury rehabilitation. She also offers massage geared toward stress reduction and relaxation.

Elle became interested in the medical side of healthcare and health insurances and further pursued her career in a medical disability law firm as a research paralegal and finally on to Polarity Realization Institute/Spa Tech to become a holistic massage therapist. Elle has continued her education at the Ben Benjamin Institute of Orthopedic Massage Therapy and has many CEU's through the American Massage Therapy Association where she has earned a Professional Membership.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in several diverse wellness centers, from an Interdisciplinary Pain Management Center to a Wellness Spa.
